Astra 3A launch
All engines at full power, and just a few feet off the launch pad, Astra 3A (along with JSAT) launches on Ariane 4 flight V139 from Kourou in French Guiana on 29th March 2002. Less than an hour later, the satellites will be safely in orbit.
