RUV Iceland test transmissions - October 2002. (Page 1)
During October 2002, test transmissions from RUV Iceland suddenly appeared on Astra 2D at 28.2E. 2D was used because the footprint of this bird covers Iceland nicely, and 80cm dishes can be used without any problems across most of the country.
The test transmissions comprised of various shots of the fantastic Icelandic scenary, set to traditional folk music. They ran in a 20 minute tape loop.
