Rogue Entries in your Personal Planner.

This information is ONLY applicable to Sky Digiboxes.

Just ocasionally, you get an entry in your Personal Planner that you can't delete. Try one of the tips below and see if any of them delete that unwanted entry.

Tip 1

Take the card out, turn it upside down.
Put box in standby then remove mains power.
Leave for 3 minutes, then plug it in again.
Leave for 2 minutes, then take the digibox out of standby.
Go into planner and delete entry.
Now take card out again and turn the right way up, re-insert it.


Tip 2

Remove the viewing card
Disconnect the unit from the mains for a few minutes.
Reconnect mains then select 'programme planner' .
Press the yellow button.
The viewing card can then be reinserted.


Tip 3

Remove the Sky Viewing Card.
Unplug the Digibox for 10 seconds then reconnect.
Allow the Digibox to sit for 30 seconds.
Press 'TV Guide' button on Sky Remote Control.
Press '1' on the Sky Remote Control.
The first channel should be 181 Travel.
Insert your Sky Viewing Card back into its slot.
Searching for Listings message should appear on the screen.
Listings should appear starting at 101 BBC 1.
Press 'Backup' on Sky Remote Control.
Select 'Personal Planner' from menu.
The invalid entry should now have been deleted.
