ABC1 off air caption.
9th August 2005: the long awaited (by some) ABC1 finally appears on 28E. This is the card its carrying when its closes down at 1800 uk time ("Channel 15" refers to its FreeView DTT allocation.This is only available to Sky subscribers who have the Family pack or higher subscription.
Having watched the tests for an hour or so, I totally fail to see what all the fuss is about. Limp American humour, overlaid with intrusive & annoying laughter tracks. FreeView can keep it as far as Im concerned.
